Worked on a team of senior IT architects that designed a huge IT infrastructure for a computer industry giant. We designed a global network architecture, security, an Active Directory structure and datacenters to accommodate Windows 2003/2000 servers, clustered Exchange servers and tens of thousands of Windows clients. We also designed and developed automated server-build processes. |

| California Early Childhood Mentor Program |
Developed a web site that processes payment reimbursements for the Mentor Program. In January or February of 2008, the system will be used statewide and it will interface with 2 other online systems. |

| Foundation for California Community Colleges |
Developed a web site to track the progress of TANF-CDC program participants (Temporary Aid to Needy Families - Child Development Careers). The web site is being used by 50+ community colleges throughout the state of California. Worked very closely with Foundation staff to design a system that meets the needs of TANF-CDC program administrators, facilitators and liaisons. We've had ZERO critical support requests since the system was released in August of 2005. |

Served as an Owner's Representative for the Superintendent and Board of Trustees. Solved complex political, contractual and technical problems. Recommended hiring a Director of IT to reduce the dependence on consultants and led the successful recruitment effort. Developed a high-level IT vision. Clarified roles and responsibilities. Reorganized IT infrastructure projects. |

Planned and led the installation of a complete IT infrastructure in a very short period of time. We installed 150 Windows PCs, 2 Windows servers and a Cisco router. This was the highest technology high school in the country and the model for California’s Digital High School program. The school opened on time and the IT infrastructure worked perfectly. |

Conducted an in-depth IT assessment and developed an IT plan for the Superintendent. The plan gave the Superintendent a clear picture of where the District was, how it got there and where it was going. It also gave the District a road map for the future which defined projects, assigned priorities and provided time and cost estimates. |

After assessing the facility, designed and rebuilt the entire IT infrastructure to reduce complexity, improve availability, reduce costs and improve the quality of the classroom experience. Reduced the number of platforms from 4 to 2, installed a firewall and Exchange and developed effective methods for refreshing disk images of student workstations. |

Initiated and led a large business process reengineering effort that revolutionized the way Fair-Isaac develops its core products, including “FICO scores”. The multi-platform systems we developed resulted in huge gains in productivity, reduced delivery times and improved quality. |

Gathered requirements, developed plans, deployed, monitored and supported the entire facility. Integrated a Windows 2000 domain, active directory and Exchange into a multi-platform IT environment. Migrated outsourced Exchange mailboxes to the new environment. Added the company's desktops into the domain. Hydropoint is enjoying improved reliability, functionality and response times. |

Conducted a technology assessment for the Superintendent with the Institute of Computer Technology. The assessment gave the District has a clear picture of what needed to be done to maximize the benefits to student and staff from its substantial investment in technology. The assessment was shared with the Board of Trustees and published on the District's web site. |

Designed and rebuilt the entire IT infrastructure to dramatically improve reliability and reduce costs. Converted from Netware to Windows servers, upgraded the network, replaced all the workstations and provided secure Internet access. Trained a network manager in all aspects of managing and maintaining the network to eliminate dependence on us. |
